Muhammad Usman Ghani is a Ph.D. candidate and Graduate Research Assistant in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering under the guidance of Professor Hong Liu. He won the first-place award for his poster presentation at the 2017 Annual Cancer Research Symposium held in Oklahoma City in January. The presentation reported cutting edge research in breast cancer x-ray imaging. The members of the research team who contributed to this interdisciplinary project include Di Wu, Liqiang Ren and Molly Wong.
